Xi and Putin to Meet in Uzbekistan Next Week: Russian State Media


Chinese President Xi Jinping will meet his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in Uzbekistan subsequent week, Russia’s state-run Tass information company reported.

Xi will sit down with Putin on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Group summit in Samarkand, Russia’s ambassador to China Andrey Denisov mentioned Wednesday, in accordance with the report. The occasion runs from Sept. 15-16.

Their assembly will mark the primary time the 2 leaders have spoken in individual since Russia invaded Ukraine in February.
